Version 1 compares extracted text. Scanned PDFs with non-selectable text may show little or no text. OCR can be added in a future version.

This version focuses on text extraction, page counts, and page previews. Pixel-perfect visual comparison is a future enhancement.

PDF text is stored differently across files. The tool normalizes whitespace and preserves line grouping as much as possible, but some PDFs may extract text in unusual order.
